Bid Coordinator

We are on the hunt for an outstanding Bid Coordinator to join our team. If you have a passion for construction, and have an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects then please read on! 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Assist the Estimating Department with the retrieval of Bid Documents once invited to bid on a project
  • Check bid documents received for completeness (table of contents, lists of documents, appendices, etc.) and track down missing information needed and develop drawing logs to track most current information.  
  • Forward, save or reply to various communications from subcontractors during the bid processes (RFI's, questions, bids).
  • Assemble bid binder and save all bids electronically for Estimators prior to bid day. 
  • Create project in iSqft and upload all bid documents for subcontractors to review, identifying bid date, trades special instructions and companies to solicit for proposals.
  • Upload and issue addendums and updates to project using iSqft as they become available.
  • Monitor and update subcontractor coverage in iSqft ensuring adequate coverage. 
  • Send reminders to selected subcontractors regularly. Follow up by calling subs with their intention to bid along with updating iSqft call status notes for each subcontractor solicited. 
  • Report coverage concerns to Estimator early in process so as not to miss receiving proposals for applicable project on time. 
  • Learn and develop working relationships with the subcontractor market and assist in tracking their general involvement.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based document sharing, ftp sites and Estimating software (i.e. ISqFT).

  • Able to function in a collaborative and friendly environment
